Just got back from Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) and had a blast! It was VERY safe and we saw no incidents while we were there. I wish the media would just shut up about Rocky Point--I understand there are border issues, but Rocky Point is not a border town and it is a wonderful place to visit! The town is struggling to survive because tourism is so low and the locals just want people to come visit them and their establishments! Please go visit! I tried to upload some pictures, but it would not load--oh well!
